That way, I can press a key, press the pedal ever so slightly too late and still "catch it". By that I mean, when I press a key and use the pedal while the key is going up and the sound is decaying, then that decayed state will be audible in the pedal. I would like to ask which piano VSTs support catch pedaling. After repeatedly landing in gearslutz threads when doing Google searches on piano VSTs, I finally decided to make an account.
